Twin Valley, MN — The Win E Mac Patriots fell to the NCE/U-H Titans on Monday night in Twin Valley. For the Titans it was their first home win on the season.

The story of the first half was the defensive pressure from the Titans. Coach Nick Hanson had a full court press called and his team took advantage. The Patriots were able to break the press a few times but the Titans were all over the Patriots forcing 23 first half turnovers and also converting off of the majority of those turnovers. After one half of the play the game was well in hand for the Titans leading 46-16.

For the Patriots it was the same story as previous games. Turnovers and the inability to find good scoring numbers. The Titans however had no shortage of scoring. The third leading scorer in the Pine to Prairie Conference, Morgan Crompton, had her typical line with 16 points and 9 rebounds. Madison Thornton added 14 points and Sage Thompson was also effective with 12 points. The Titans stayed aggressive all night long making 26 of 35 shots from the free throw line.

The Titans move to 4-4 on the season and will take on the Lake Park-Audubon Raiders on Thursday in Twin Valley. The Patriots fall to 1-8 and will matchup against the Bagley Flyers on Monday the 15th.
