Number six ranked Central Cass was bound and determined to bounce back from defeat, after losing on Thursday night to Region 1 rival Kindred in Overtime.  The Squirrels needed every second of their game on the road in Hillsboro to come out on top.  After leading most of the game, the Squirrels were matching the Burros in scoring in the third quarter, setting up an exciting fourth quarter.  As the Burros struggled a bit scoring in the first half, they came out of their shell in the third, but the Squirrels did also, including Josh Dixon hitting a baseline shot at he buzzer in the third quarter, capping off his 13 point outburst, and eclipsing his 1000th career point with the shot.
The Burros would keep shooting and  would increase their defensive pressure, tying the game at 54, and taking a lead in the games final minutes.  The Burros would lead by two possessions, but the Squirrels would keep shooting and eventually tied the game with four seconds to play off a three point shot from Jake Duetsch.  The Burros would inbound with 4.4 seconds to play and Jackson Anderson dribbled off his foot, giving the Squirrels a chance with 2.5 seconds to go.  The inbound play was drawn up, and was what they ran on Thursday in the loss to Kindred, but the team trusted it, and a pseudo ally-oop to Jake Deutsch goes in, the Burros fall 63-61 to the Squirrels.
