Central Lakes College Monthly Update with Dr. Hara Charlier
(BRAINERD, MN) — To get our monthly update out of Central Lakes College, we had our usual conversation with school president Dr. Hara Charlier.
6 weeks into the fall semester, Dr. Charlier had nothing but good things to say about how things have gone so far.
October is Manufacturing Month at CLC, and Dr. Charlier told us about the ways in which the school is commemorating the occasion.
Both campuses of CLC, and particularly the Staples campus, have numerous options for obtaining hands-on manufacturing experience, so Dr. Charlier spoke more on how prospective students can check those options out.
Dr. Charlier also took some time to talk about the CLC Foundation, a nonprofit focused on improving student life.
The school is gearing up to celebrate its alumni as well. Dr. Charlier mentioned the alumni criteria at CLC and discounts that will be made available for alumni at upcoming events.
The last week of the month of October is Minnesota State Week, and while the elimination of application fees does not have a direct bearing on Central Lakes College, which has no application fee to begin with, Dr. Charlier says now remains the perfect time to apply.
We thank Dr. Charlier for her time. Our full conversation with her may be found below.
