Aitkin City Council to meet Monday, October 4th

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin City Council will receive an update on the 2021 City Improvement Projects while holding talks on Cameras at the City Park during their regular meeting Monday, October 3rd.
The Council will be looking to approve a gambling permit for the Brainerd Lakes Rocky Mountain Elks Foundation for December 27th and a resolution to authorize an agreement with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
Under the Administration Report, the Council will discuss setting the Truth and Taxation Meeting to be held on December 6th, 2021 at 6pm. Discussion will also take place on the annexation process in motion, while setting a Public Hearing for November 1st.
The Council will also hear from Engineer Phil Martin from Bolton & Menk on the 2021 City Improvement Project.
Under Old Business, the Council will also look at an agreement with CTC and Your Six Estimate.
The Aitkin City Council meets at 6pm from the Community Room of the Aitkin Public Library.
