Mahnomen School Reminds Parents & Community Members of Current Mask Requirement
Mahnomen, MN — With a sharp increase in the amount COVID cases and quarantines, the Mahnomen School District returned to a mask mandate for students and staff starting this past Monday. Aimee Pederson with the Mahnomen School says kids have been adapting well to the requirement, but reminds parents and community members that the requirement pertains to anyone entering the district facilities.
With Homecoming on the schedule in a couple weeks, the student council is quickly adapting their events with safety in mind during the current COVID situation. Pederson says instead a People Parade, they are working with the photography class to put together a virtual version.
Homecoming week for the Mahnomen School is scheduled for October 4th through October 8th.
