(Oak Lawn Township, MN) — The Minnesota State Patrol reports that a motorcycle-involved crash in Oak Lawn Township in Crow Wing County took the life of one of the drivers on Wednesday, September 15th.

According to the report from Lieutenant Gordon Shank, a 2014 Honda CR-V was traveling westbound on Highway 18 near Two Mile Road while the 2003 Harley Davidson was also heading westbound behind the Honda.

The driver of the Honda, 33-year-old Amelia Erckson of Crosby stopped in traffic, forcing the motorcycle to brake. The rider, Joshua Ferris, age 49 of McGrath, laid the motorcycle down before striking the rear of the Honda.
