Hill City Council to set 2022 Levy by September 30th

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council began looking into their 2022 Proposed Budget and Levy while continuing to get City projects completed for the Fall.
We chatted with Hill City Mayor Sean Lathrop on the Council’s action looking into the last three years of the City’s budget before establishing a levy for 2022.
Lathrop also mentioned that clean up of blight and abandoned vehicles is also moving along.
The City of Hill City is also looking into the best course of action for sludge reduction.
Mayor Lathriop did also say that the Council will be holding a special meeting prior to the September 30th deadline to establish a proposed levy.
The City of Hill City Council’s special meeting will be September 28th at 6pm at 6pm with their Budget meeting scheduled for 5:50pm.
