Aitkin City Council meeting moved to September 7th

(Aitkin, MN) — The City of Aitkin offices will be closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 6th.
The Aitkin City Council will hold their first Council meeting of September for Tuesday, September 7th. The Council will be reviewing a CUP for New Life Church, Library Cleaning Renewal with Hagman, Inc, and a revised Brew Fest Special Event Permit for this Saturday.
Mayor Megan Workman will present a Memorandum of Understanding for the Interim City Administrator.
Under the Administration Report, discussion will take place on the City’s Budget and Fannemel Easement.
New Business will feature a resolution for Execution to Execute MnDOT Grant Agreement for Airport Improvement excluding Land Acquisition, Nuisance Ordinance #400, Park Ordinance #389 Agreement, Recreational Vehicle Ordinance #366 amendment, Snowmobile Ordinance #367 Amendment.
Following the regular meeting, the Council will hold a closed session for attorney client discussion. The Aitkin City Council next meets at 6pm from the Aitkin Public Library Community Room.
