Ironton City Council discusses Gambling permit, County Road 30 parking situation

(Ironton, MN) — The Ironton City Council reviewed a Charitable Gambling Permit request and contracts during their first Wednesday meeting of September from the Ironton City Council Chambers.
Deerwood Police Chief Mark Taylor spoke on keeping notice of school buses and school children around starting next week.
Chief Taylor also spoke about the County Road 30 parking situation and added reminders of the posted signs.
The Council did approve a Charitable Gambling Permit for November 27th for the Cuyuna Range Lions at the Town Tavern. A contract with Sourcewell was tabled until representatives from the company can answer questions and provide more information. The Council also did approve the MN Energy contract while also pushing back discussion on the Short Term Rental appeal for Barb Risnes until a later meeting.
The Ironton City Council will meet again on Wednesday, September 15th at 6pm from the City Council Chambers.
