Norman County 4-H to be Well Represented at MN State Fair
Ada, MN — The Minnesota State Fair returns a week from now and once again Norman County will be well represented, specifically when it comes to 4-H. Most of the 4-H’ers will be present either during the Livestock encampment, which is August 25th – 29th, or the General encampment, which runs September 2nd – 4th. The Minnesota State Fair is a great opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned over the past year, according to Norman County 4-H Extension Educator Linda Houglum. Houglum highlights some of the local participants in this year’s Great Minnesota Get Together.
Norman County will also have 4-H State Ambassador being represented at this year’s fair. Houglum says Kindley Christianson of the Marsh River 4-H Club will represent Norman County proudly.
Houglum also encourages anyone attending this year’s State Fair to make a trip through the 4-H building and take a gander at some of the unique projects they’ve come up with.
The Minnesota State Fair runs August 26th through September 6th.
