(Palisade, MN) — The Long Lake Conservation Center has gathered and assembled a new team to become fully operational and ready to welcome back students from around their overnight “Nature School”.
These highly-trained Naturalist educators were hired by Education Coordinator Beth Hassken with full-time, year-round Naturalists Katie Murphy and Marla Richter, and part-time, year-round Naturalists Claire Dobie, Julia Kuhns, and Jake Panozzo. Each of the team members is an experienced educator with degrees and advanced training in Environmental Sciences.
Being able to fully-staff the LLCC will open the opportunity to host overnight stays for the first time in nearly two years. In addition to area schools visiting, yoga retreats, quilters, family reunions, astronomy groups and other adventure clubs are also welcomed.
