Representative Dale Lueck discusses unemployment benefits, CRT in schools with latest conversation

(Aitkin, MN) — Even out of the office, District 10B State Representative Dale Lueck has been keeping up with the latest issues concerning the masses after our recent conversation this past week.
Representative Lueck noted the work concerning taxes on unemployment benefits during the COVID-19 shutdowns of 2020.
Legislators are working on adjusting the taxing of those benefits because of the impact it would have on those who are still struggling with unemployment.
Lueck also did mention the on-going discussions of Critical Race Theory in Lakes area schools.
The current High School graduation standards are also a factor in any changes for curriculum.
That curriculum does fall on multiple parties and adding CRT would be a considerable addition.
