Border Opening not been “Smooth Sailing”
Lineup at the International Border in International Falls
Travel north across the Canadian border opened at 11 pm last night and the line up to cross into Canada started to develop during the day on Sunday. As of 9 pm on Sunday night, the backup was nearly to the Burner Road.
Mike Ricks from Oklahoma, who was one of the many cars in line last night and explained why he was anxious to get to Canada.
Ricks added that the line was shorter than he expected.
As of 10:00 this morning, the backup was to Badiuk Equipment and beyond.
