Clearwater County, MN – County fairs are much more than rides and fried food. Along with nightly races and events, a major draw to any county fair is the support for aspiring 4-H members. As a club that prides itself in inclusivity, acceptance and participation, 4-H clubs make annual appearances at county fairs. Currently, the Clearwater County Fair in Bagley is the place to go for anything 4-H. Whether it is viewing the still exhibits or the livestock, members of this learning program all have the chance to display their talents. 4-H Extension Educator for Clearwater County Kayla Mistic spoke about the hard work and exhibits that can be seen at the Clearwater County Fair.
Along with getting to show livestock at the fair, Mistic highlights the friendships and connections that can be made in 4-H.
The Clearwater County Fair is held at the fairgrounds in Bagley. It will go through this Sunday, August 8th. 4-H Livestock shows are happening all day August 5th until 8 P.M.
