(Crosby, MN) — Despite a short meeting earlier this week, big changes are coming to the Crosby-Ironton Board of Education on Monday, July 26th.
We chatted with Crosby-Ironton Schools Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland recently about what the big news for the board was.
With Decent and Dwyer resigning their spots on the Board, Skjeveland and the rest of the Board members will be adjusting their meeting protocols when it comes to voting on action items.
The Crosby-Ironton School Board has posted the opening of two spots on the Board of Education on their website, and will be taking letters of interest from the public.
Skjeveland also spoke about the District’s Strategic Planning and how they are looking ahead with their 3 domains of improvement.
The Board also did approve Fall Coaches Contracts for the 2021-22 Season, accepted resignations and hirings, awarded the Milk Bid to Kemps and Bread Bid to Pan-O-Gold, and approved the Long Term Facilities Maintenance Ten-Year Plan.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education will next meet on Monday, august 23rd at 6pm from the Forum Room of the Secondary Building.
