FM Legion Riders to Return to Ada with Ride this Saturday
Ada, MN — Dozens, if not hundreds, of motorcyclists and classic car enthusiasts will be making their way to Ada this Saturday, July 31st as part of the 2nd Annual FM, Lakes Area Legion Riders Car and Motorcycle Run. The ride will start at the Patriot Assistance Dogs Headquarters in Detroit Lakes and make stops at Ice Cracking Lodge and Flom before stopping for lunch in downtown Ada sometime around noon. However, this won’t be the only car and motorcycle ride making its way to Ada on Saturday. Tom Krabbenhoft of the FM Legions Riders says there will also be two additional rides taking place from other locations all meeting up at one central location, which happens to be Ada.
Once converged in Ada, riders can enjoy food from a food truck, or food crane actually. And prior to leaving town for their next stops Krabbenhoft notes that they will again take a quick parade lap around Benedictine Care Community.
Once departing Ada, The FM and Lakes Area Legion Riders will then make stops in Felton and Downer.
The cost to participate in that ride is $20 per vehicle with proceeds benefitting Patriot Assistance Dogs. Krabbenhoft says the great thing about rides such as the one this weekend is that they get to get together with good people and help good causes.
