Amanda Lowe talks about City of Aitkin busy with events, projects

(Aitkin, MN) — The City of Aitkin is roaring with construction and activity that draws people far and wide, which also attracts the attention of Aitkin City Council member and business owner Amanda Lowe.

Lowe spoke on the recent success in fundraising and donations for the Aitkin Community Parks.

The City Parks have als recently seen trouble in the form of disgruntled parties laying waste to it, which the City is addressing.

Progress on the space for the year-round Warming House to be used as a Community Room for all is taking shape from a technological perspective.

The month of August will be plenty busy including the premiere event of summer, Aitkin Riverboat Days.

At the end of the month, Aitkin will be hosting a big music festival.
