Bagley School District Looking to Fill Open Job Positions; Updates for Upcoming 2021-2022 School Year

Bagley, MN – As the start of the school year slowly approaches, the Bagley school district is looking to fill 24 job openings. From out of the classroom positions like bus drivers to paraeducators and teachers, Erich Heise, the superintendent of the Bagley school district, discussed the open positions that Bagley is looking to fill.
Heise encourages people interested in any of the job openings to go to the school website at bagley.k12.mn.us/page/employment. With the different job openings comes the possibility for finding one that fits any person’s schedule. Heise also speaks about the struggles to fill these open positions due to schools being a public entity in the middle of a pandemic.
Along with hoping to hire people into these positions, Heise also spoke about plans for the upcoming school year in regards to masks in the classroom.
Going back to the classroom also means more in-person interaction for both students and staff, which Heise believes will play a major part in bettering their mental health and education.
Although Heise hopes to stay in-person for the duration of the school year, the Bagley school district does have plans in place in case of the possibility of needing to move online due to weather or other interferences. These E-Learning options are in place to keep the school year condensed and not to go into June. With the hopes of hiring new staff and practicing proper measures for the health and safety of the students, the Bagley school district will start in-person September 7th.
