Crosby Mayor Jim Hunter talks bicycles on sidewalks, Airbnb with monthly chat

(Crosby, MN) — The conversation with bicycles on city sidewalks and hearing both sides of the issue continues to be a discussion topic with our monthly chat with Crosby Mayor Jim Hunter.
Mayor Hunter and concerned Crosby residents are working on forming a committee to hear both sides of the issue with bicycles riding on city sidewalks.
Concerns from both sides include liability in the event of an accident.
Hunter also addressed the need for proper signage for cyclists coming through town.
Another City project that could become more of a reality is the growing need for regulations for Airbnbs residences, which could play into the City’s economy.
Council discussion and a decision will have to be looked at more in the future with Ironton already discussing an Airbnb ordinance.
