(Aitkin, MN) — The return of the Aitkin County Fair a couple of weeks ago was a success for all those people that put in the time to ensure fun, entertainment, activity, and safety after coming off the cancellation of the 2020 Fair due to COVID-19.
We spoke to Aitkin County Fair Board member Kirk Peysar about the great turnout for the Fair even for the early days.
Although tabulating attendance numbers would be difficult for the four-day Fair, Peysar says people this year outshined previous years.
The reach of the Aitkin County Fair had an impact beyond those in the immediate area that also had an impact on vendors and businesses.
Peysar says thank you to everyone who came together for the late planning and everything looks promising for 2022.
The Aitkin County Fair runs the first week of July after the 4th of July Holiday.
