Anderson Farm in Lake Park to celebrate Sesquicentennial
Lake Park, MN – A family farm settled in 1871, five miles North of Lake Park Minnesota in Cuba township, providing life for six generations, is celebrating their sesquicentennial this weekend. Bryan and Dawn Anderson, the sixth generation on the farmstead is welcoming back over 100 family members to the farm this weekend to celebrate something that started off in a very unique way as Bryan Anderson explains.
As much as the farm has remained the same over the past 150 years, Anderson cannot deny the amount of change and adaptations the farm has seen.
As for the weekend celebration, a mixture of family reunion and community gatherings will bring recognition to the 3rd Becker County farm to celebrate their sesquicentennial, according to the Minnesota Farm Bureau archives.
