Twin Valley Assisted Living to Host Pinning Ceremony for Six Resident Veterans
Twin Valley, MN — Twin Valley Assisted Living is honored to announce that this Friday, July 16, six of their tenants of their care facility will be recognized as part of a Veteran’s Pinning Ceremony with Hospice of the Red River Valley. Lavon Sannes, Twin Valley Assisted Living Housing Director, talks about the honor of being selected for this unique ceremony.
Typically, the pinning ceremony is held by Hospice of the Red River Valley for Veterans who are nearing the end of their life. However, in this unique situation the pinning ceremony is being held simply just to honor their veterans for their service. Sannes says honoring Veterans has always been emphasis for her and the facility.
The veterans of the Twin Valley Assisted Living represent the Army, Navy, National Guard, and Air Force branches and served during World War II, Korean, and Vietnam wars. The pinning ceremony is scheduled for this Friday, July 16th at 10am. The event is open to the public.
