Mahnomen City Council News & Notes from June 21st Meeting
Mahnomen, MN — The Mahnomen City Council held their 2nd monthly meeting on Monday, June 21st, which was the last meeting for Mahnomen City Administrator Mitch Berg who is leaving to take a position at the University of Minnesota-Crookston. Still, lots of business to be acted on, however. The Mahnomen City Council at the meeting approved a Conditional Use Permit for a new body shop in town, according to Administrator Berg.
The Mahnomen City Council was presented with their 2020 financial audit at the meeting. Berg says there a couple items worth keeping an eye on, but overall the audit looked favorable.
The City of Mahnomen had lots of other good news to report, mainly in the form of grant approvals, at the most recent meeting.
The Mahnomen City Council also approved a variance and change order for the Mahnomen Fire Hall project.
