Crosby Mayor Jim Hunter talks bikes on sidewalks, city projects during monthly conversation

(Crosby, MN) — City of Crosby Mayor Jim Hunter spoke heavily on the cycling’s impact on the community during our monthly conversation while also talking about the economic growth of Crosby.
Mayor Hunter spoke about Crosby’s bicycle ordinance prohibiting riding bikes on city sidewalks.
Conflict does arise with local businesses that have frequent outside customers and those trying to enter and exit their buildings.
The recent announcement of Cuyuna Regional Medical Center being included with a pharmacy in the new SuperOne Foods Store is just one of many new projects in Crosby.
The City of Crosby has also been working with the Police Department on their policy concerning “take-home” vehicles, which has been a looming expense on the City’s budget.
