3200 Square Foot American Flag Towers Over Ada
Ada, MN — There’s a new landmark flying high over the city of Ada that those driving through town would be hard pressed to miss. A 40 foot by 80 foot American Flag was erected earlier this week at the site of the future Freedom Fuel and Car Wash near the intersection of Highway 9 and 200. The American Flag sits on top of a 130 foot pole, making it one of the tallest structures in town. Owner for Freedom Fuel and Car Wash, Nic Prothero, says the response from the enormous Old Glory has been tremendous.
Prothero says he initially didn’t intend on raising the flag until his new business was finished, but he figured with his new ice machine up and running and the fair in town this week that it would be a good time to let it fly.
Prothero says his high-tech new ice machine, which also dispenses filtered water, has been a big hit so far and talks more about how it works.
Nic adds that eventually you will be able to purchase tokens for the ice machine in advance from your phone, similar to how Touch Tunes jukeboxes operate.
