Fertile City Council Moving Forward Special Vehicle Ordinance; Plus News & Notes from June 14th Meeting
Fertile, MN — The Fertile City Council held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, June 14th. Part of that meeting included a special public hearing in regards to their proposed to Special Vehicle Ordinance, which relates to golf cart and ATV use on city streets. Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden says they had no public comments on that matter, so they will proceed with making it law.
The new Special Vehicle Ordinance will take effect on July 1st.
The Fertile City Council got an update on some of the airport projects. Administrator Liden says just as they are finishing up work on their runway rehabilitation, they received word that they have received funding for more projects.
And with the fair coming up in less than a month, the council approved the usual items such as parade liquor permits.
The City of Fertile is also pleased to welcome Riverview Health as the new tenant for the clinic at the Fertile City Center. The clinic was previously leased by Altru.
