(Aitkin, MN) — Many issues still remain open as State Legislators head back to the State Capital for a Special Legislative Session with Governor Tim Walz’s COVID-19 Emergency Powers remaining intact.
District 10B State Representative Dale Lueck gave us updated information late last week on the State Budget’s current outlook with State agencies remaining unclear on funding.
Among his LCCMR work, Lueck touched on Chronic Wasting Disease and the introduction of new testing.
With the return to the Capital this week, both sides of the House of Representatives and Senate floors will hopefully be settled this week.
The Special Session will also reinstate Governor Walz’s COVID-19 Emergency Powers for another 30 days, which continues to draw criticism.
