Crow Wing County to begin bridge replacement on June 10th

(Brainerd, MN) — Crow Wing County is scheduled to begin the replacement of the bridge over the Nokasippi River on CSAH 23 between Upper South Long Lake and South Long Lake this week.
The County has entered into a contract with Houle Excavating with work consisting of replacing the existing bridge with two 14-foot by 9-foot box culverts, grading, bituminous surfacing, and underground utility replacement.
Traffic impacts will include County Road 23 being closed to through traffic beginning on June 10th. Detours will be on County Road 148, Trunk Highway 25, and CSAH 22. All construction operations are scheduled to be completed prior to July 16th if weather is fair and unforeseen circumstances are limited.
