City of Hill City Council scheduled to meet June 8th

(Hill City, MN) — The City of Hill City Council will be opening discussion on approval of American Rescue Plan Funds and lay out further plans for the 4th of July Festivities.
The Council, during Department Reports, will receive more information from the Land Use Committee on the Public Hearing Variance that is set for June 15th at 6pm. The Events & Recreation Committee will discuss the Community Room open on the 4th of July for people to cool off and use of restrooms.
Under New Business, a resolution of approving the American Rescue Plan Funds will be up for Council approval. Other items up for Council decision will include Police Coverage, Wood Chips for Mollencamp’s due to waterline break, Buck Thorn Removal Bids, and RV Application and Vendor Application. Fees for Vendor Application, repealing of the garage property ordinance. The Council will also be discussing approving a 3.2 Liquor License for Hill City Fire Relief Association for the 4th of July, while receiving an update on the Community Garden Project, and look into hiring another part time police officer.
