Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of REACH Tonight with Live Music & More
Hawley, MN — The Rural Enrichment And Counseling Headquarters, otherwise known as REACH, invite you to celebrate three decades of neighbors helping neighbors at their 30th anniversary party tonight at the St. Andrews Church Parking Lot in Hawley. REACH serves the rural Clay, Norman, and West Becker communities with a variety of services and programs such as family support, a food pantry, backpack program, mental wellness, counseling, thrift store, career services, and more. The 30th anniversary party includes a youth kickball tournament from 1-4pm, cereal box donation drive and domino at 5:30, bike raffle, live music from the front fenders, and a fashion show. Dawn Chisholm, manager of the REACH thrift stores and organizer of the fashion show, encourages everyone to bring and chair and enjoy some great entertainment.
While REACH hosts a number of fundraisers each year, this is not one of them. Executive Director Peggie Chisholm says this event is strictly a celebration.
Sarah Kjono is a new board member for REACH and represents Norman County. She says REACH is a valuable asset to the community and hopes people from outside the Hawley area in the REACH service area are able to join in on the celebration.
Root beer floats and popcorn will also be served until gone. The REACH 30th Anniversary Party is tonight in Hawley. The Front Fenders take the stage at 6pm.
