Brainerd Lakes businesses awarded Dual Training Grants

(Minnesota) — Lakes area businesses were recently honored by the Minnesota Office of Higher Education to fund related instruction of dual-training and will benefit as part of $3.4 million of Dual Training Grants.
The Dual Training Grant supports the Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline that provides dual trainees the opportunity to earn while they learn and help businesses meet their workforce needs.Those that received grants included advanced manufacturing, agriculture, health care services, and information technology.
Those businesses in the listening area that were awarded Dual Training Grants included Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Dan’s Prize of Long Prairie, and Pequot Tool & Manufacturing.
These grants will help fund related instruction of dual-training programs for 745 current and new employees.
