Aitkin County Public Health updates COVID-19 guidance at May 25th HHS Meeting

(Aitkin, MN) — With the lessening COVID-19 restrictions continuing to update each day, Aitkin County Health and Human Services has much needed information to present during their regular update with the Board of Commissioners Tuesday, May 25th from the Government Center Board Room.
Public Health Supervisor Erin Melz spoke to Commissioners on the latest COVID-19 vaccinations in the County with regards to creating “community immunity”.
Melz also laid the current guidance for face coverings, social distancing, and other mitigation factors.
COVId-19 vaccination shots continue to have a steady stream of supplies, thanks to the partnership with Public Health, Riverwood Healthcare, and GuidePoint Pharmacy in Aitkin.
Aitkin County Health and Human Services will convene with the Board of Commissioners on June 22nd.
