Aitkin Public Schools update with Superintendent Dan Stifter

(Aitkin, MN) — The transition from High School Graduation to the busy summer to preparing for the beginning of the 2021-22 School Year will be quite busy for Superintendent Dan Stifter and the Aitkin Public School District.
During our monthly conversation, Superintendent Stifter highlighted the upcoming High School Graduation ceremony set for June 4th outdoors.
After the graduation ceremony, the Class of 2021 will be escorted in the vehicles through town by Police Cars and Fire Trucks. Stifter also did talk about the plans for building improvements once school lets out next week.
The Aitkin School Board also did finalize a specific dollar amount for the Capital Projects Levy, set for this year’s November ballot.
Among the needs for transportation and technology, the Levy would provide funds that are needed for more facility upgrades.
