Traill District Health Unit Talks Moving Forward Post Pandemic
Hillsboro, ND — Traill County appears to be back in “new normal” conditions with the end of their mask mandate, businesses restrictions removed, and vaccinations on the rise. According to Traill District Health Unit, roughly 60% of the county have received their first dose and around 50% have completed the vaccination process. Brenda Stallman with Traill District Health says they are continuing to host vaccination clinics and encourage Traill County residents to get the vaccine.
While Traill County no longer has a mask mandate, they are in a “Mask Advisory” and masks are still encouraged. Stallman says COVID-19 is still impacting the county and will likely continue to do so well into the future.
Also yet to be discovered are the physical long term effects from COVID-19. Stallman says they are beginning to notice unique lingering side effects from those who were diagnosed with the coronavirus earlier this year.
Brenda was a featured guest on our Hillsboro Community Day on Wednesday. If you missed the full interview, you can catch it again this weekend on the Access Health Program.
