Brainerd Mayor Dave Badeaux Talks Water Tower, 4th of July, and More from May 17 Council Meeting
(BRAINERD, MN) — The Brainerd city council held its second regular meeting for the month of May on Monday, so we spoke with Mayor Dave Badeaux to gather the latest from the city.
Badeaux first commented on a presentation given on storm sewers.
The city gives money to the Brainerd Public Library every year, and Badeaux said that this year, the library saw a budget surplus, so the city will be getting some of that money back.
As the weather continues to warm, the time has come to put flags back on the top of the historic water tower, but the city heard that first there are some things to fix there.
Badeaux then moved on to the topic of Brainerd Community Action, starting with plans for the 4th of July this year.
Arts in the park is also still accepting applications for artists.
We thank Mayor Badeaux for his time. Our full conversation with him may be found below.
