Crow Wing County Board Meeting from May 11
(BRAINERD, MN) — The Crow Wing County Board was back for a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 11. The meeting was relatively short, but some topics still drew attention.
The board first heard a presentation about the possibility of applying for a Sourcewell community impact funds grant.
After adiminstrator Tim Houle provided his support, citing similar grants in the past and how they’ve helped, the application was approved unanimously.
The board also was presented with a proposal that would see improvements to their aerial pictometry starting in 2022.
Sheriff Scott Goddard expressed his support for this proposal, which was ultimately approved unanimously.
Goddard also mentioned that the Sheriff’s department is currently hiring.
