BAXTER, MN — Those who use Highway 210 in the city of Baxter are invited to take a Minnesota Department of Transportation survey for a transportation study in this area.
The survey is now open online through June 2 at metroquestsurvey.com/p4y7i.
A survey designed to gather initial feedback from the community on needs for the corridor was conducted last fall. The current survey is to seek public participation on the study’s key findings and potential solutions along this 5-mile stretch of Highway 210 through Baxter.
The MnDOT study is being conducted in partnership with the city of Baxter and Crow Wing County. Public insight will be valuable to plan these future projects:
- In 2022, city of Baxter to improve access to Inglewood Drive and Knollwood Drive at Highway 210.
- In 2024, MnDOT plans to resurface in both directions of Highway 210 between Baxter Drive and Timberwood Drive in Baxter, including safety and access improvements proposed for Meredith Drive, Memorywood Drive and Fairview Road intersections.
MnDOT invites and encourages everyone to participate. The study will be complete this summer, focusing on safety and mobility for all modes of travel on Highway 210 in Baxter.
For questions about this study or any future plans on Highway 210 contact District 3 Planning Director Steve Voss at firstname.lastname@example.org or 218-828-5779, or log onto www.mndot.gov/d3/projects/baxter/.
