C-I Superintendent Skjeveland recaps April 26th School Board meeting, Strategic Planning

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education held their monthly meeting Monday evening with resignations and hirings, and other updates from the Forum Room of the Secondary Building.
We had the chance to speak with Crosby-Ironton School Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland to recap the meeting and the latest concerning their Strategic Planning.
Other areas will also be addressed from the Strategic Planning initiatives.
The Board also heard an update on the Crow Wing County Family Service Collaborative.
Superintendent Skjeveland did also mention the Board approved the realignment of Current Social Studies, Secondary STEAM and Industrial Technology Course offerings.
The Board did also accept the resignations to Secondary Vocal Music Teacher Daniel Olson and Activities Director/Dean of Students Jared Matson at the end of the school year, and employed Julia Abfalter as Secondary English/Language Art Teacher, Katie Gobler-Anderson as Secondary FACS Teacher, and BradyTesdahl as a Physical Education and Health Teacher.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education will meet again on Monday, May 24th at 6pm.
