Mahnomen School Board News & Notes from April 12th Meeting
Mahnomen, MN — The Mahnomen School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night, April 12th. At the meeting they approved an architectural firm to assist them with the process of examining potential facility updates that would suit the district better in the post COVID world. Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek says the school board approved an agreement with JLG architects to get that process started.
The Mahnomen School Board also approved revisions to their 2020-2021 school budget. Superintendent Bisek says they received some additional funding that positively impacts their budget.
In regards to staffing this month, Bisek says they approved the resignation of some paraprofessionals and hired some new staff members as well.
The Mahnomen School Board also approved the annual K-9 contract as well for their random locker searches.
