Norman County FSA Provides Update on CFAP-2 and ARP
Ada, MN — The Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2, or CFAP 2, reopened earlier this month to assist producers of agricultural commodities marketed in 2020 who faced market disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Randy Tufton with the Norman County FSA says the program was opened up to more individuals not included in the earlier version of the program.
Tufton notes that they’ve also received a lot of questions about the American Rescue Plan and the impact it will have on agriculture, but he says they are still waiting on complete guidance.
The Norman County FSA office is currently doing business through phone, email, and other digital platforms. They are currently not conducting in-person visits.
