Crosby City Council monthly meeting from April 12th

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby City Council convened Monday night to review requests for projects and improvements to City infrastructure from the City Hall Council Chambers.
The Council did approve the estimate from AutoSmith for Public Works vehicle transmission and oil pan repair, Waste Partners Inc Commercial Refuse Hauler license application, the Council to be the fiscal agent for Chamber Grant Application, a Special Event Application, filling a part-time Crosby Police officer and selling former Crosby Police Squad 2013 Ford Explorer.
City Administrator Matthew Hill presented an agreement to the Council with MnDOT for the use of City Roads for the purpose of temporary detour.
The agreement was approved by the Council as well as the resolution to make application and accepting funds from the IRRRB Board Grant Program. A request was also presented for a new skate ramp.
That request was granted with materials to not exceed $4,000. The City of Crosby also entered into agreement with Barstock Liquor to use their back parking lot for downtown businesses during the Highway 210 construction project. The Council also approved the hiring of James Lueck as its Public Works Working Foreman.
The Crosby City Council will next meet on Monday, April 26th at 6pm.
