Aitkin County Board of Commissioners meeting set for April 13th

(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin County Board of Commissioners will be hearing multiple resolutions from their various Departments Tuesday morning from the Aitkin County Government Center Board Room.
The Board will be looking to approve donations for the Search & Rescue Group from Haugen, Libby, and Pliny Townships, K-9 Donation from Dan and Joanne Lastavich, and an amended resolution for 2021 Elected Officials Salaries.
Auditor Kirk Peysar will presenta resolution for On and Off Sale Liquor License for The Craft House.
County Administrator Jessica Seibert will introduce Patty Thielen for a DNR Update.
Human Resources Director Bobbie Danielson and Engineer John Welle will both be speaking to Commissioners on the Title VI Plan for MnDOT FHWA subrecipient. Welle will also present a contract award for multiple projects with Gladen Construction of LaPorte, MN.
Land Commissioner Rich Courtemanche will ask the Board to approve the Land Auction date for June 4th and will present a resolution for a Public Hearing for Land Classification. Assistant Land Commissioner Dennis Thompson will speak for the Board on the ECP Grant.
IT Manager Chris Sutch will be seeking the Board’s approval for Microsoft Office 365/Exchange Plan 1.
Assessor Mike Dangers will open discussion of 2021 Assessment Summary. Sheriff Dan Guida will be giving information on Autopsy Services and MN DOC Facility Inspection Report.
Following committee updates, Sheriff Guida will be going under Closed Session with the Board before adjournment.
