NCE School Looking for Yardwork Projects for Annual Be Kind Day
Twin Valley, MN — The Norman County East School is planning to bring back their annual “Be Kind Day” later this spring. Be Kind Day is a community service project where high school students go out into the community doing various tasks such as yardwork, cleaning, and other works people in need of assistance. Last year’s Be Kind Day did not happen as students were distance learning and the state was under a Stay at Home order. This year’s event will take place on Wednesday, April 21st with a May 5th backup day. Norman County East Principal Dustin Flaten encourages anyone in the Norman County East community to reach out to the school if they have potential projects for the students.
Anyone residing within the Norman County East School District is eligible to request help. Please contact the Norman County East School at 218-584-5151 by Thursday, April 14th to be put on the list.
