(Aitkin, MN) — The Aitkin County Habitat for Humanity is going strong with their latest home being built in Aitkin and are still looking for assistance in completing the project.

We spoke with Ann Schwartz with Habitat for Humanity about where the new home currently is at and what still needs to be finished.

Ann Schwartz mentioned that the family that will be moving into the home, that the closing process is still some time away.

Schwartz did talk about their usual home dedication celebration and when the family can begin moving in as a community event, but COVID-19 will have to be addressed in order for that to happen.
