Grace Lutheran Church Prepares for Socially Distant Easter Service
Ada, MN — Grace Lutheran Church in Ada is planning for their Superbowl of Services this weekend, and like the actual Superbowl, they too will have a somewhat limited capacity. The Easter service is typically the most attended service of the year and while the state says they can open at 100% capacity, Grace Lutheran Church Pastor Jack Carlson says they must still limit their attendance because they must maintain social distancing as well.
Just as they were long before the pandemic, Grace Lutheran Church will be offering a live stream and radio broadcast of their Sunday service for those who can’t worship in person or chose not to. Pastor Jack thanks those who have adjusted to the new normal and been willing to worship from home during the pandemic.
While we are living in difficult and turbulent times, Pastor Jack’s message to his parishioners and to everyone this Easter is to live and love like Jesus did.
Grace Lutheran Church will hold their Easter Service this Sunday at 9am. In addition to that they will have their Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 1st and Good Friday service on Friday, April 2nd, both at 7pm.
