Ulen-Hitterdal School Board Selects Rob Baron as Next Superintendent
Ulen, MN — At a special meeting on March 22nd, the Ulen-Hitterdal School Board voted to select Ryan Baron as the district’s next Superintendent. Baron is currently the Superintendent and Principal at the Tri-County Public School in Karlstad. Ulen-Hitterdal Board Chair Bob Klemetson says overall they were very pleased with the quality of applicants they had received through their search but are very excited to move forward with Baron and what he can bring to the district.
Baron will replace outgoing Ulen-Hitterdal Superintendent Todd Cameron, who is retiring for good at the end of the school year after 8 years of service in the district, according to Klemetson.
The Ulen-Hitterdal School Board will be conducting contract negotiations with Ryan, and a contract is expected to be approved by the board at special meeting on March 31st at 6pm. Baron is tentatively scheduled to begin his new role on July 1st, 2021.
