Crosby-Ironton Board of Education discusses staffing, FACS remodel at March 22nd meeting

(Crosby, MN) — The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education held their regular March meeting Monday night and opened discussions on continuing marketing the recent expansions to their numerous programs within the District along with other items.
The Board of Education took time to recognize the District’s Food Service workers.
Crosby-Ironton Schools Superintendent Dr. Jamie Skjeveland also spoke about managing declines in schools, and how to avoid such outcomes.
The Board did also address High School staffing for the 2021-22 school year.
Dr. Skjeveland updated the Board on the plan to remodel the FACS Room.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education also did accept the resignations of Susan Tesdahl, Jacob Jaskowiak and Nancy Sandeen, and employed Julie Ulmen, Tracy Hoffman, Samantha McColley, and Geraldine Cronk. Approval was also given to Jamie Skjeveland as the official identified with the Authority to Authorize User Access to MDE Secure Websites and Award Bids for Phase II Remodeling at CRES for the Summer of 2021.
The Crosby-Ironton Board of Education is next scheduled to meet for their next regular meeting on April, 26th from the Forum Room of the Secondary Building.
