NMPH Talks Guidance for Those Who Are Fully Vaccinated
Ada, MN — More than 1,200 people in Norman County and 1,600 in Mahnomen County have now completed the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine and are ready to move on with their life without the fear of COVID-19, but can they? The CDC recently released their guidance providing recommendation for what fully vaccinated individuals should or should not do once they have completed the vaccination process. Norman-Mahnomen Public Health Director Sarah Kjono explains some of that guidance for those now fully vaccinated.
Perhaps the biggest advantage to being fully vaccinated, according to Kjono, is the ability to avoid quarantine after coming into close contact with a COVID-19 positive individual.
The CDC is also still not recommending travel for those who are fully vaccinated, Kjono believes that as more of the nation receives the vaccine, that guidance will change.
