Recreational Vehicles Become a Hot Commodity During Pandemic
Fargo, ND — The Red River Valley Sportsman’s Show got underway this week at the Fargodome, showcasing the latest in RVs, campers, boats, and other products in the recreation and outdoors industries. And more and more people are flocking to those industries as the pandemic rolls on. In fact, most places saw record sales of boats and campers over the past years and dealers struggled to keep up on inventory as units went out as soon as they came in. Austin Veralrud with Outlet Recreation says things were initially slow when the pandemic started, but soon took off.
Campers and fish houses became some of the most sought-after products this past year. In his experiences chatting with customers, Veralrud says they became such a hot commodity because they offered a safe and fun way to get out of the house and do something as a family.
For those looking to purchase a camper for the first time, Veralrud recommends doing some research a head of time, evaluate how much space you need, develop a budget, and figure out what your vehicle is capable of pulling. And most importantly once you find the model that best suits you, don’t wait too long as most units sell quickly and interest rates are as low as they’ve ever been.
You can a check out a wide selection of campers, fish houses, RV’s, and more at the Red River Valley Sportsmen’s Show, which continues through this Sunday at the Fargodome.
