Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida monthly update on Pipeline portest, seasonal concerns

(Aitkin, MN) — Aitkin County Sheriff Dan Guida’s monthly conversation this month focused on activity at the various demonstration sites along the Enbridge Line 3 Pipeline replacement within his jurisdiction while touching on seasonal messages and scams.
Sheriff Guida says that as the weather continues to improve toward Spring, that means an increase of possible incidents with demonstrators and pipeline work.
With the frequency of incidents occurring, Sheriff Guida and his office have leaned on outside security and law enforcement entities to assist at a cost.
Sheriff Guida also spoke about with the warming temps that people ice fishing need to be cautious.
Snowmobiles trails are also being worked on while Sheriff Guida spoke to youth about snowmobile safety.
Sheriff Guida also talked about some of the recent trends he has been seeing with scams in Aitkin County.
